The MCN Scottish bike show is this weekend 8th & 9th March.
I sometimes wonder why we have to pay ?15 to get into a big shop.......

Yup, it's pretty crap but it's a 'bike day' in winter with the mates so I'll go.
The NEC show ain't getting better either so we're planning to go to the Milan one this year. At least the grub should be better.......

Got a mate coming up from M'boro this weekend so I can fit new lights on his bike so couldn't go anyway, even if I took the notion :D

One of my reasons for going was the rideout up the A68 etc which is brilliant but the weather always seems to be iffy on this weekend.

I did get a letter published in MCN a while ago asking why they host it so early in the year and suggesting they pushed it closer to easter.
The answer being the EMAP organise it inline with the manufacturers request so that they can showcase new machinery etc pre - 'biking season' !!

One of the redeeming features of the Scottish Show used to be the entertainment (Purple Helmets and the like) but they don't seem to attract 'top acts' anymore.

PS Milan show sounds great..now that's a rideout :)
